Human hot dogs Brian Jex and Diana Maison. Book fair promotes reading, parent participation and funWe recently wrapped up our annual book fair and all of the fun and excitement that went with it. We had a lot of family participation for our sock hop/ice cream social, as well as the nacho feast at the Training Table restaurant. It was great to see so many smiling faces. The success of the fair is the reason that Assistant Principal Brian Jex and I became "human hot dogs." We promised to do it if we met our sales goal, so we showed up in the cafeteria on Feb. 11 and let students slather ketchup and mustard on us. It's not your typical day on the job, but it's all for the students. The money raised at the book fair will go toward the cost of student educational activities. I want to again thank everyone who helped support our school. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some condiment stains to tend to. Diana Maison, Principal
